Meet Kris, the creative force behind Renaissance Design & Renovation. She's a true design enthusiast who's passionate about making your space remarkable. Kris loves teaming up with talented artisans, adding that extra touch of uniqueness to her projects. She's all about creating welcoming spaces that feel like home - timeless and personalized just for you. At RdR, her clients appreciate her fresh ideas and the vibrant energy she brings to every project. As a woman in construction, Kris redefines the meaning of excellence, aiming to leave a lasting mark on the homes her team touches.
In addition to her love for designing spaces, Kris enjoys spending quality time with her husband, William, her family, and her friends. She's a passionate cook and entertainer, always looking for opportunities to share her love for food and hospitality.

Meet Jody Ryg
Co-Founder & Head of Construction
Jody Ryg, is a seasoned professional in interior design. After earning a Bachelor's in Architecture from UW-Milwaukee, he kick-started his career as a retail Kitchen Designer. It was here that he mastered kitchen design standards. Transitioning into wholesale cabinet sales, he became a dealer rep and later, a remodeling coordinator. It was this position that developed his well-versed knowledge in building structure, framing systems, lighting, and electrical plans.
In 2009, he co-founded Renaissance Design & Renovation. The duo was awarded 1st Place in the ‘National Traditional Kitchen’ category at the WoodMode Design Awards. Jody's focus at RDR is optimizing every project—fostering creativity and collaboration amongst his team for truly exquisite design and construction results.
Outside of work, Jody's a family man who enjoys time with his grown children and his dog, Nova. He's a music enthusiast, outdoor adventurer, golfer, and avid traveler.
